To find the median , we arrange all the boxes based on increasing order of weights.

In this ordered set , the first 45 boxes will be boxes of shelf J. The 45th box will be the heaviest box of set J

Followed by these 45 boxes ,we will arrange the 44 boxes of shelf K

In a set of 89 elements , the median will be the 45 th element i.e the heaviest box of Set J. This is mentioned in Statement 1
