Median and Mean

What is the median value of the set R, if for every term in the set, Rn = Rn–1 + 3?

(1) The first term of set R is 15.

(2) The mean of set R is 36.

Correct Answer is B

Stmnt 1:

Insufficient
We just have the first no = 15
the series would be like 15,18,21,24,27 .. but we don't know whats the last number so can't calculate Median.

Stmnt 2:

Sufficient
Coz in an AP ( Rn = Rn-1 + 3), Median = Mean.
Mean is given, median will be the same i.e. 36.
