I just wrote the GMAT in Toronto. I was originally aiming for a 650, but when I saw how well I was doing on practice questions I hoped to score over 700.
I got 700 on my first GMAT prep and 640 on my second. I think the large drop is because I overstudied and after a while I didn't care anymore and just wanted to get it over with. When I saw the score I briefly considered a re-write, but I'm applying for Schulich in January, and they only require a 550 anyway, so I'm good! If I don't get accepted then maybe I'll consider a re-write then. Right now I'm really sick of all this GMAT stuff, it's been 2.5 months! I'm glad it's over (hopefully forever!).
Thanks for helping to keep this great forum alive, it was a huge help!
BTW - the breaks are now 8 minutes, and I got earplugs with my exam materials.
