Hi ,

I am from India and i have a work-ex of 2 years in an IT company.
I took the GMAT twice and scored 630 in both the attempts.
I do not think i will be able to improve my score in my third attempt.I want to apply to B schools in California. Can you please suggest in which colleges can i apply?

Thanks

Shilpi

Dear Shilpi,

Generally, you are most competitive at schools where your GMAT is at or above the average. Since you are from an over-represented profile in the applicant pool (IT from India), then you will not only want to apply to schools with GMAT averages under a 630, but also submit a strong set of essays and recommendations.

Good luck,
Lisa
