1) is not enough: .33(M) and .20(F) are given. two unknowns, cannot be solved. INSUFF

2) .25(M+F) are transferred, again two unknowns. INSUFF

together: SUFFICIENT.

set up a chart. since you are given two percentages, you can make total M = 100.

33 + 0.20X = 0.25(100 + x)

8 = .05X

x = 160.

since x is total female and 100 is total male,

the fraction of males in the entire college is: 100/(100+160) = 5/13

33/100 M + 20/100 F = 25/100 (M+F)

.33M + .20F = .25(M+F)

Simplify

8M = 5F

M/F = 5/8

M/T = 5/13
