Dear Devesh,

You're scoring in range of your target score the the most reliable CAT practice tests. Shooting ~40 in verbal and 50 in quant are considered really terrific scores. I think theres nothing to worry about :)

Personally, I feel you have lot of time for your real test (13 Aug)
Prepare well and you wont have to re schedule it.

That last test, though, had lots of repeats that you recognized from OG, so that may have inflated your score a bit. Keep studying! Have you taken an official test before? If not, I'd be inclined to take it in mid-Aug, but consider that a dry run and assume you'll take it again about 6 weeks later - just in case you don't like your score.

This is my first attempt but wanted to give my best shot this time. As considering retaking(in case i dont like the score) would mean atleast 6 weeks gap which would make it too late for 1st round of application(I am yet to research schools extensively and essay is time consuming too).

oops! I missed some part of your earlier post :(

prepare well for 13th Aug.
and yes, although application process is time consuming you can do both jobs simultaneously.(GMAT & ESSAYS)

In fact you should start your bschool research by now. & be in contact with your mentors/recommenders.
