I have about 2 weeks left for my gmat test and am finding the verbal section pretty tough. I score about Math-45 and verbal-24-26 everytime i take the test. I find the sentecnce correction and critical reasoning(resolve and explain type questions) very tough. Make a lotta mistakes and waste a lot of time in them.

Please suggest some tips and is it better to postpone my gmat for 2 months and prepare from og and kaplan bcoz i am using princeton review book and tests...?

I wrote the diagnostic test of kaplan and got 560 and the princeton review tests also but all around the same score 570 and 580.

Pls let me know whether i have to postpone my test and also for how long(my background is Engineering).

plz reply asap....

Your math seems to be good. However, I think you do have scope for improvement in the verbal section.

Get a copy of OG 11 and/or GMAT 800. Both of these books have a list of common SC/CR question types that are tested on the GMAT. Practice and you should see your scores move up.

It seems that you are not satisfied with the scores that you are getting currently. If you can afford to I think you should postpone your date, practice for a month and give it a better shot.
