what is the value of x?

If 16x + 8y = 40, what is the value of x?

1) x - 5/2 = -y/2

2) 21x - 60 = -yx

Answer is B....
But since we get a quadratic equation from B....
This should give two values of x....
So..???????? How come the answer is B?

OA is wrong.... i am getting 2 values.... one is an integer and the other one is a positive number(not an integer)
