Guidence to continue the journey to success

Hi everyone,

I have taken the PowerpPrep test1 and scored 630. Its disappointing me:(
My target is higher 700s.

I have been preparing for GMAT for more than a month.I have done OG math and OG verbal along with Manhattan sentence correction and Kaplan 800.

I am ready to put all my efforts towards the preparation.Could you please suggest how should I carry my preparation further, what to practice, how to??

I have to take my GMAT test by the second week of July,2009.

The biggest question that is bothering me is whether I will be able to make the desired score:(

Please, please help!

I haven't taken it yet, I am still preparing like you, but the one thing I can share that I'm doing that I think is helping me is I am writing down and making flashcards of any problem I get wrong because of a trick so to speak. For instance, one thing I commonly get wrong is on data sufficiency questions that involve fractions. One question asked if (x/y) was greater than 1. The first statement said that (x/y) = 5/4 and the other statement was clearly insufficient, I choose A because I failed to remember that if both x and y are negative then it can still equal 5/4 and be less than one. So I made a flash card essentially reminding me to consider positive or negative values when evaluating fractions with DS questions. Hope that is somewhat helpful.

yeah sorry. I meant to say that the question asked if X was greater than one, not if X/Y was greater than one. The second statement was only dealing with Y and didn't give you any insight into what X would be.

Kaplan 800 does not contain very difficult problems. Tough problems can be found in the challenge archive of Manhattan GMAT. To improve CR questions you could work some Logical Reasoning problems from the LSAT. These problems tend to be more difficult and often provide better practice.
