Official GMAT Prep software

by Kasper Madsen » Mon May 18, 2009 6:34 am
Hi All

As I have my GMAT tomorrow I would like to hear your opinion on the the Official Gmat Prep software and the Kaplan Gmat Prep software.
Did you find it representative of the actual test?
I find that the questions on the Kaplan are harder than those in the official Gmat Prep software.
And this is not because I scored low when I used the official gmat prep software as I got 720 on the first and 710 on the second.
With Kaplan I have scored from 540 (first test) up to 680 (last test)

I am just concerned that these do not really reflect the difficulty of the actual wuesdtions on the test?

If you have any views about these Gmat Prep sofware programs and the comparison of their questions to the actual test questions, please write a post.

Thanks you all,
Kasper

Dont believe the Kaplan test scores. They tend to be waay off. Trust the GMATPrep/Powerprep scores. The scoring is quite accurate and most people are only a few points plus/minus

Kaplan is great for students aiming for 500-650. However, students trying to score higher should use a different source of prep.
