As of this morning, none of my friends have been able to solve the puzzle contained in last week's newspaper.

SANAM pronouns(some,any,none,all,more most)-> Look if the subject in the prepositional phrase is singular/plural to determine if the verb is singular or plural

of my friends(plural subject) so have been

Eg: Some of the money has been stolen.
Some of my dogs have been straying.
