Dear All,
Today i gave my first prep test. The scores were
Q 50
V 30
Overall 670
I could not complete all questions in Verbal. Only 39/41 and 36/37 in quant.
My general feeling is that time is a very big constraint and i can remember that i was comfortable on timing in verbal and so reduced my pace and soon realised that i was behind schedule. The same thing happened in Quant.
In verbal==> i got 15 wrong from 39 the break up is as follows
SC-7
RC-5
CR-3
Would like some guidance on sentence correction and time management
In Sentence correction I have gone through Manhattan book once, but i cant see any improvement in my abilities. My problem is also that i take a lot of time in solving questions and if test is timed it pressurises me at the end and if it is untimed than i lose concentration. What should be the strategy to handle the SC questions. 95% of the time loking at the original sentence i cannot tell what and where is the mistake. Is there some thumb rule that i am not aware of.
I am taking my test on 15th July 09. Any help guidance would be good
