Validity of score

by Jasmine Sodhi » Mon May 18, 2009 2:01 am
Hey hi Stacy,

I took my GMAT on 11th Feb 2009. n my score is just about average. 660( Q-47 V-34).
right now i m in my final year of engineering and i will pass out in JUNE-2009. I want to apply for my MBA after getting some work experience(of about 2 years). So i wanted to ask will the B schools entertain my 2-3 years old score. Although i know that the score is valid for 5 years but i just want to be sure that will the fact that my score is 2-3 years old, affect my profile or my admission into a particular school.

Thank You
Regards
Jasmine

Dear Jasmine,

As long as your score is within the 5 year period, it is valid. There is no bearing on your evaluation if it was taken within 5 days versus 4 years.

Good luck,
Lisa
