First simplify the question.

1/r + 1/s = 4
(s+r)/sr = 4

r+s = 4rs

So the question is asking is R + S = 4RS ???

1) Gives you exactly that.
2) try plugging in couple of values. r and s can be anything and does not have to equal 4 so it's not sufficient.
