Practice Tests

Hi everyone!

I'm starting to prep for the GMAT and want to know which practice tests are most reflective of the real test.

I was browsing through the forum and I know that the GMAT Prep is a must. What are some other practice tests I can use and how would I access them? (i.e. I'm not planning to take a prep course, so how would I get access to the Kaplan CATs?)

My goal is to complete as many practice tests as I can before I take the real thing.

The practice tests I recommend are: Princeton Review, Kaplan, Manhattan GMAT.

Most representative are GMATPrep and Princeton Review for tests, and Official Guide 11th edition for practice questions. You can download GMATPrep free from www.mba.com, but I'd head to your local bookstore or Amazon to get other materials. They're readily available.

You can use Kaplan but their tests are a lot harder than the real thing, and their verbal questions are really off. If you take them, ignore the scores.

You can also buy access just to our tests, without buying all of the other stuff. That includes the tests themselves, explanations for each problem, and assessment tools (essentially, reports you can run that give you detailed analysis on your performance). Details at www.manhattangmat.com.
