in order to protect national parks and historical sites, public access to them should be greatly restricted

Whether access to national parks and historical sites should be restricted. The issue is controversial but I shall present my view in tha favour that public access should not be resticted.

Lets first understand the use of Historical sites. Historical sites give people a insight into the culture and tradition of their antecedents. People come to know about their values , traditions and various other things that make them what they are today. Banning on the historical sites will be the setback to the purpose of having historical site. Admittedly, people can gather information by reading history books. But most of the times reading books is less interesting than seeing things. for example, Science praticals are much more useful than theoretical subjects. The reason being when people feel and see the things physically they remember more and co-relate with the things more easily. Therefore, historical sites should not be restricted.

National parks are the places where people can come close to the nature and can see different species of the animals at a one place . These places provide people an Opportunity to go with their family and spend some quality time with them. Childrens gets highly benefitted from the national parks. They come to know about different animal species and even co-relate with what they have studied in their textbooks. Restricting the access to national parks won't do any good to the purpose of national park. So, access to national parks should not be restricted.

Admittedly, some people may say that access to national parks and historical sites deteriorated these places. But banning the access to these sites in my opinion is not a solution. The government should impose hefty fines who tries to mar these sites. Moreover, more security , more CCTV cameras and increase vigilance can solve the problem. Government should also run a public awareness programs to make people understand that how these sites are cruical for them.

In summary, restricing a access to national parks and historical sites is not a solution. People should be encouraged to use these facilities and Government should implement more stringent measures to prevent the deterioration of these sites.
