General feedback is that the work experience sounds very interesting. I am sure there are some great stories in there. What were her questions?

Stacy,
Thank you so much for your prompt reply. Sorry for the delay in gettin back to you. I was waiting for my friend to get back and then i fell ill :(

Anyway, my friend is worried if her profile is strong enough for her to give a shot at the top colleges, H/W/.........
Also, she hasnt had Math in over 12years so what kind of a GMAT score should she be scoring to be in the ring?

Thank you.

Hi Neo2000,

I think her background sounds very interesting, great raw material for an application.

As for her chances at a top school, she should concentrate on achieving a GMAT at or above the mean of her target schools (which would put her in the "safe zone") and telling her story in the context of business school - why MBA? What are her short and long term goals? What lessons in leadership and management has she learned through her very interesting work background.

Good luck!

Amy

Hi Amy,

Thank you so much for your response. I believe this will go a long way in re-assuring my friend.

About time she finally got down to prepping for the GMAT. :)
