The correct form is To X is to Y as mentioned earlier. Here X and Y should be parallel.

E is incorrect because here "Attaining Nirvana" (X) is not parallel to "to be entering" (Y). The ing form would have been correct if it was - "Attaining nirvana is entering a state......"
