Lastest Update:

I have been placed on a wait list at university of Maryland smith business school, which is not a bad news. I contacted the school and they suggested that i should consider retaking the GMAT.

I plan to meet with some member of admission committee and show my interest in the program. Lets hope for the best.

Hi guys,

I have applied for part time MBA program at Univ. of Maryland Smith Business School and George Mason School of Management. My profile is as follows:

GMAT 530 (44Q, 20V)
Work Exp: 5 years ( Working for National Geographic Magazine as Senior Marketing Analyst)

Grad: MS Computer Engg. - Univ. of Houston-Texas, GPA 3.02
UGrad: BS Comp. Engg. - Sir Syed Univ. of Engg. and Technology, Pakistan - GPA 2.90

Anyone out there who applied at these schools? need some input, advice. I also wanted to apply at Georgetown and George Washington but affraid that i would definitely get a ding because of low gmat score.

I plan to retake if i get dings from these schools and also need some advise about how to make my application more stronger

Thanks
