Hi All,

Please refer the attached screen-shot. From the explanation i could understand that (A) is the best option.

Would placing "modeled on" before "either" make the option a better choice?

I believe that way "modeled on" should apply to the part after "or" as well, and hence must be placed before "either".

Your takes on this?

I feel that the question is incorrect.

1. Either X or Y , X and Y are not ||
2. wrong usage of idiom. modeled after is a correct idiom

Coming back to question , among all options A is best. B is incorrect because verb is missing. So B is not even a sentence, it is a sentence fragment.
