Took ULTIMATE PRACTICE TEST, But Didnt Finish..... Odd Quest

I was taking the Ultimate Practice Test at Person, and the computer kicked me out halfway through the verbal section. I was on question 15 (out of 41). For whatever reason, I will still given an overall score. Now granted, the score was poor, did the score include penalties for the unanswered questions? I didn't answer 26 questions on the verbal section and Im wondering if those were factored into my overall score, or they were taken out.


Anyone familiar with such an odd occurrence?

I never understood the point of the ultimate practise test... wouldn't it be a better idea to just write the real thing once?


anywho, I would ask for my money back if there was a software problem!

Actually, both Kaplan and Pearson were kind enough to let me retake the test. The ultimate practice test is used to emulate the real test. You take the test in the same center, with the same notebook and marker. Its about as real as you can get. Its good to get acquainted with something like that prior to taking the actual GMAT.


But my question remains... does the final score reflect the unanswered questions?

If it were a real test, it probably would, but it seems the software messed up in your case, so all bets are off!
