If I have the MGMAT books,then is it worth taking the course

I've spent thousands of dollars on prepping for the GMAT and took the test already like 3 times.

I am aiming for a 680+...and decided to take it one last time and give it my all.

I was considering taking a MGMAT course, but a co-worker of mines is lending me all the MGMAT books and I have the Official Guides already.

Is it still worth the $1440 in taking the course or can I simply use the MGMAT books to study from?

Please advise!!!!!! Thnx.

If you feel comfortable doing self prep and have a strong study strategy, then you should be fine preparing with just the MGMAT books. It's worth taking a class only when you think that a structured classroom environment for learning will benefit you more.

If you already have taken the test more than couple of times and haven't achieved your desired score then I think I would go for external assistance (read- private tutor or in your case, class room coaching )

still I dont know much about you and your prep history, so my advice could be inadequate...

FYI if you get the books from someone else you will not have access to the online materials, and the books are only about half of what we teach.

If you buy a set of new books yourself, they come with a code to access the online materials - but the code can only be used to create one account.
