Is Z equal to the median of the 3 positive integers X, Y, Z ?
(1) X < Y + Z.
(2) Y = Z.

Is Z equal to the median of the 3 positive integers X, Y, Z ?
(1) X < Y + Z.
(2) Y = Z

Statement 1:
X < Y + Z

if X = 1, Z = 2, Y = 3, then Z is the median
if X = 2, Z = 1, Y = 3, then Z is not the median. Insufficient.

Statement 2:
Y = Z

Z must be the median in this case, since there are only 3 integers in total regardless of what X is.
