Need an assessment please

by GNPFAF » Sat Apr 04, 2009 4:13 am
Hi,

I am Portuguese, male, 26.
I applied in Round 2 for Harvard, Stanford, Wharton and Columbia and received a ding on all (received invitations for interview at Wharton and Harvard)
My GMAT is 740- 95% on verbal, 84% on quant and 80% on AWA (took the test twice - previous score 710).
My toelf ibt score is 116.

I have almost four years of consulting experience, and as a consultant I have international experience - almost one year in Africa

My academic background is Economics - graduated first of my class with a grade of 16.4/ 20.
During the university I worked part-time for 90% of the time, which even strenghtens my academic performance.

My extra curricular activities are somehow weak - some sports, and informal participation in a political movement.
I received recommendations from my managing partner, a CFO of my client in Africa and a CFO from other client.

So, I am still digesting the news of receiving dings from all the schools, and want to know in what pieces of the application should I work for Fall 2010?

Thank you for your assessment,

Best,

I am somewhat surprised at the results. I strongly urge to obtain an application evaluation before you reapply, because other than intense competition at your target schools, there is nothing in your post that explains the rejections.

If you don't want to go to the expense of the evaluation, Check out:
