Profile Eval

Hello :
I am curious about my chances of being accepted into UCLA's FEMBA. Here is my profile:

-Graduated Pepperdine in 2007, 3.0 GPA
-Gmat: 650
-Lots of leadership experience including Senator elect for Student Gov't, president of a club etc.
-hired as Director of Marketing for a mid-sized law firm that I interned at during my last two years of college, promoted to after a year to Director of Marketing and Communication where I manage our internship program and continue to manage all marketing
-Very high recommendations
-Interview went well
-Lots of service experience current and past

My concern is that I am only 24 years old and the average age is around 28 or 29, I also have a fairly low GPA but I think my work experience is very good for my age and I have some management experience...

Thank you for any advice!

Dear ablackmon,

Based on the information provided, you appear to have a competitive application for the FEMBA program. However, admissions committees have many factors that go into their decisions, so it is quite difficult to give a definitive answer either way. While you are a little low on the experience range, you do have quality experience in your tenure and meet the minimum preferred quantity of experience. I think you have a shot, so stay positive and hope for the best!

Best of luck,
Lisa
