In a certain year the total expenditure the united nations were $1.6 billion. of this amount, 67.8% was paid by the 6 highest contributing countries, and the balance was paid by the remaining 153 countries. Was country X amoung the 6 highest contributing countries?

A) 56 percent of the total expendutures was paid by the 4 highest contributing countries, each of which paid more than country X

B) Country X paid 4.8 percent of the toatl expenditures.

67.8% was paid by the 6 highest contributing countries
56 percent of the total expendutures was paid by the 4 highest contributing countries

So remaining 2 countries = 11.8 %

Now we don't know what X has....

2 says that x has 4.8...

but there is a possibility that 2 countries can have greater than 4.8 % eg
5 + 6.8 5.4+6.4 etc

Also 4.8+ 7

So we don't know
