Dear all,
First of all, thank you very much to everybody for this great forum and the great enthusiam and motivation that you all have in the forum.
It really motivated me a lot.
I just had my GMAT yesterday and scored a 660 which is excellent for me as it is enough my target university.
After studying 4 months first with the princeton review basic book and then the OG 11th edition, I did my first practise test and had result of 590. This made me pretty excited and I decided I wanted more and was going to aim for a score like 650 to 680. - Then I bought a manhattan review math book - studied all the theory and did about 30 questions.
2 to 3 weeks before the actual exam I did two PR practise tests and scored 520, 530, 550 respectively. This made me really panic.
I decided to take a GMAT tutor and and bought more books. Kaplan 800 Score and the GMAC Verbal and Quantitative Review. I also postponed the exam for 2 weeks. And then bought the Manhattan Review Sentence Correction and the MGMAT Critical Reasoning Guide.
Well at the end. I did two more practise tests before the exam which was this monday. The first exam was a GMAT Prep on Friday when I scored 570 but was really tired and a MGMAT on Saturday morning where I got 610. But then I read the MGMAT makes it easier to score high and has a fluctuation of +/- 50 points. So I thought 610 is way to optimistic.
After all, my goal was just to get over 600 points for the exam day.
So I was extremely surprised that I got 660 and I couldn"t believe my eyes when I saw the score.
I am extremely happy.
Thanks a lot again.
Felix
