Hi,
I did my undergraduation in India where the grading scale is out of 100.My undergrad GPA is not very good based on the fact that my average for 4 yrs. of Electrical engineering was 68 %(1994-1998).I do not what this translates to into GPA.I have then pursued my Masters from UL,Lafayette Lousiana majoring in Telecommunications(1994-2000) and graduated with a 3.82 GPA which is fairly OK compared to my undergrad.
I have been employed since the beginning of 2000 and thus have 8 yrs of work experience with several promotions through the years.
I have a GMAT score of 650(written only once).I am planning to give my GMAT again(hopefully cross the 700 mark) to add some weight to my application.
I can get good recommendations from my current and previous employers.
Based on the above(ignoring my GMAT second attempt since I have not given it yet) what are my chances for the top 15 MBA schools.Should I even try to apply?
Also, will there be any chance of getting admitted in the top 15 schools if I improve my GMAT.
Plaese suggest.
Thank you,
Sireesha.
