London Business School and USC

by asamanta » Sun Mar 29, 2009 11:05 am
Dear Stacy I have the following questions

1) I have recently applied during Round 3 at LBS. As in Indian male candidate I am aware that I am among the most competative pools;
Is it any competative in Round 3 versus round 1 and round 2 ? (BTW there is also a round 4)

2) Could you guide me as to how one generally prepares for phone interviews ?

3) Would you know if USC have a spring intake (Jan intake)? (I could not find that info on thier MBA webpage)

Thanks,

Dear asamanta,

Generally speaking, rounds 3 and 4 are more competitive than rounds 1 and 2. At this point, the schools have already made many offers of admission and have had many of those folks indicate their plans to attend. Thus the number of seats available to offer in subsequent rounds is much smaller.

There is no difference in preparing for phone interviews versus face-to-face interviews aside from what you wear. You don't have to dress professionally for a phone interview since your interview can't see you. :wink:

If USC does not indicate a January entry on its website, then it probably does not have one. For a definitive answer, you should contact the admissions office directly.

Good luck,
Lisa
