Hey guys. I've been checking this site out for a while. I've also been studying for the GMAT for several months now. I took the test Saturday and fared poorly. My background: I'm an aspiring grad student who wants to be a CPA. Although I've been out of high school several years, I thought if I studied enough for the GMAT I would have been able to get a 700+ (my original goal - unfortunately I didn't even come close). I did, however, study many hours: I used the OG, Manhattan, and a little bit of Kaplan. My problem is that I did not use the OG early enough in my studying and I did not focus on doing problems everyday, I did perform a lot of problems, but mostly studied them afterwards (out of OG), only to assume that I would refamiliarize them on the test. I also took a few practice tests and did not do well on those. But, what can I say, I may just not be a good test taker or the GMAT may not be my cup of tea. In any case, I'm hoping to get into a state school for an M.S. in Accounting. Also, my strenghts are in my recommendations and a good GPA (3.1). I wish everyone well here, this site is awesome. Eric, you and your staff do an incredible job. Thanks to all.....
Wish you good luck.
I hope you get into the course of your choice.
