What are people's experiences with the free Princeton Review Diagnostic CAT?
I just took it, and it was an interesting experience. I got a 720 (Q 47, V 43). I made a few stupid mistakes on the math section, which shouldn't have happened, but reading Princeton Review questions are a bit painful. They are all kind of wordy and I lose my focus. Also, pacing myself was a bit hard. I got the first 10 or 11 questions right, but i was worried as the test got harder, I wouldnt finish. I sped up, missed a few questions, the test got a little easier, and then I finished with 20 minutes to spare.
My verbal section went okay, though the critical reasoning questions on the diagnostic test are horrible. Often, none of the answer choices seem reasonable.
As I mentioned, this was my first CAT. I've taken 4 ETS paper tests (750, 740, 730, 730), but I always felt like the ETS questions are all very clear and easy to read.
I'm going to start doing the MGMAT tests soon, but I was curious about other people's experiences with the Princeton Review test.
