Dear stacy,

this is regarding ur reply to my query (Fri Jun 01, 2007 2:39 am Post subject: How do i Know which univ suits me?)

I have looked into this and also tried browsing through the websites of a few top univs. But, i cudnt find out which of the univs fall in line with my career goal direction. I am very much concerned abt the school's reputation. I look only at the top schools (loaction not an issue). I prefer a multi-cultural community in the classroom and the size is not of much concern to me. How do I start searching for specific schools from here?

I have an engineering background, technical work experience(2 yrs as on today), part-time business experience (3-4 years), 8.3 GPA/10 (around 3.3-3.4 out of 4) and entrepreneurial interests.

I ve been involved in mentoring my juniors at my Alma-mater and have been involved with a NGO which provides psycological & medical guidance to Cancer patients & their familes. Also an active blogger with interests in poetry, quizzing & cricket.

I am an Indian, 23 yrs old, and can speak 4 indian languages & also French, apart from English. Can speak basic Russian,, now on learning process. i have also been part of a delegation to moscow.

Expecting a good GMAT score,, 700 (+/-) 20.

Really any of the top 20-30 schools are going to be multi-cultural and are providing a general management education, so will help you develop the range of skills you will need to be an entrpreneur. If ranking is an issue you should drill down a bit more on the top 10-20 schools (although these will vary according to rankings). Ways to research: the website is a start. You can also visit campuses and call the schools and ask to speak with students or alums. I do believe that any of these schools will facilitate your goals, so again, it is up to you to decide which schools are a fit for you.
