Unique and Other absolute modifiers

The Example states
Incorrect: He is a very unique personality.
Correct: He is a unique personality.

Is this correct ??
He is the most unique personality.

the following article says yes ... https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/unique
It also says .. "more unique' /most unique or 'uniquer" uniquest may be used....

both the articles seems to contradicting ; englishplus say "comparatives, superlatives, and words like very, so, or extremely should not be used to modify it."
wikitionary says "may be used in disputed sense"

... which one is correct

The full line from Wiktionary states:

Unique in its undisputed sense is not comparable. In its disputed senses, however, it can be compared as more unique, most unique, and occasionally as uniquer, uniquest.

So it seems that there have been ongoing disputes about whether unique is a comparable word or not. It seems that officially, it's not.

yes i assume the same ... so in case i face a question with options having comparitive and superlative forms of 'unique" like "more unique" / "most unique" or 'uniquer" "uniquest"

then i can simply reject it , right ?
