I am an 25 year old Indian Male and finished my high school in India.However,I did my undergrad in Engineering from NY,USA and plan to pursue a Full-Time MBA in Entrepreneurship at this juncture.
I have a GPA of 3.6 and haven't repeated any courses. I gave the GMAT last month and received a dismal 550 but I gave it again this week and received a 700.I increased my scored by 150 in a month.Will this show the admissions committe my determination to pursue an MBA at this time?
Career background:
1.Work in the Equities technology Department of a major US IB.(2006-present)
2.I have recently opened up a Technology startup with a unique Business Model and want to pursue a MBA in Entrepreneurship to get a better grip of my Entrepreneurship endeavours.(2008-present)
Extracurricular:
1. Worked in dad's orphanage in India during my high school days.
2. I am an avid singer and have performed at college and at numerous shows.
Accolades:
1.Best Senior Design group from undergrad institution.
2.Received award from my current company(major IB) for outstanding performance.
What are my chances of getting into NYU and Columbia.I applied to their R2 and they said that they will accept my new GMAT score of 700.
Please let me know what you think my chances are of getting into NYU and Columbia.
