Dear tranquilbreeze,

From what you posted, you would appear to have the foundation for a competitive application at any school. I'm a little unclear on what your GMAT score is, but assumed it was in the 700s from what you wrote. While you have all of the things the schools are looking for, it is how well you construct your overall application package that makes a difference. Be sure to spend considerable time on your essays and try to visit the schools at the top of your list. I'm not overly concerned with your GPA since your GMAT score is high and your alternative transcript is a 4.0--you have mitigated that small weakness effectively. I think you just need to spend the time and effort on submitting the strongest application possible.
