Is x a prime number?

1. x is an even number.

2. x can not be divided evenly by an odd number other than 1.

What is OA?
1) says x=....-4,-2,0,2,4,6...
2 is prime in this list and others are not. so insuff

2) says x = 2,4,8....
insuff

taking both the statements together it is still insuff

Ans is E

it says x has only one odd factor (factor that is an odd number) and that is 1

:) The question can not be answered with the statements provided. Because x can be an even number and still be prime (2 is a prime number), statement 1 is insufficient. Additionally, x might be divisible by even numbers, so statement 2 is also insufficient.
