Is m/2 an even integer?

If m is an integer, is m/2 an even integer?

(1) m/4 is an integer.

(2) m/2 is an integer.

taking part I:
m/4 is an integer that means m can be 4,8,12.... multiples of 4.
so m/2 for all the values of m (multiples of 4) m/2 has to be even.
eg: m=4, m/2=2 which is even
m=8, m/2=4 which is even

so statement I is correct.

that means the ans can be either A or D. We cannt have ans as B,C or E.

taking part II:
m/2 is an integer so m can be 2,4,6,8... multiples of 2.
so taking m=2, m/2 = 1 which is not even
now taking m=4, m/2=2 which is even
so II statement is not correct.

so the ans is A.

From A: If m=12,16,20 m/4 is an integer.And definitely m/2 is an integer.

From B: If m=6;then m/2=3 which is not even;but if m=4;then m/2=2 even.Not sufficient
