by brokebutdedicated » Tue Jan 27, 2009 8:59 am
mods if this isnt suppose to be here or not allowed let me know or move this....

so i decided to keep a mini blog of what im doing to prepare for the gmat...

heres my stats

graduated 3 years ago from UCSD, with a poli sci major, econ minor... major gpa of 3.5, overall gpa 3.0

now working in real estate, looking to get into a masters of real estate/commercial or some sort, dual mba program...

i started studying for the gmat approximately 1 month and a half ago...

so far i have studied 1 hr a day 5 days a week...i went through the entire princeton review book from start to finish, and finished the kaplan 800, book, occasionaly i would add another hour of study...

my studying has been quite passive as of now...i pretty much have no idea of where i am....however i have set 2 "practice test dates" where im going to take the entire practice tests from the mba website...

my first practice test is this friday jan 30th at noon...

i will post my score after and how my studying has adapted and changed. hopefully this will help others get an idea of how they will attack the gmat.

follow up post to come soon...

Yes you can have your own GMAT progress blog; no objection.
But keep things interesting so that other people find it useful reading your thread.

New things that your learned in a day/week.
Your books review,
your study approach and why it's so etc.

Ask questions to seniors/experts/ members & also involve other members so that it wont look 'a monotonous blog'

All the best for GMAT test preparation and you mini-blog ;)
