hey,
I ve started my kaplan prep last week by the diagnostic test. I got a 300. it is not a suprise according to my background.
anyway I am under pression and feared not make it. I am supposed to have 550 for the school I apply for. Do you think it is possible to gain 250 pts!!!!!!
to be more specific, one week ago i was not able to solve an equation with unknown value, did not heard about about the distribitive law... Now you can imagine from where i start!! lol
I love challenge (and it is definitly one!) but honestly I am worried!!
any advice or experiences?

thanks,
hug!

Kaplan does have a reputation for producing difficult GMAT practice tests. Before you make your final assessment on where you stand, I recommend that you take a GMATPrep practice test from MBA.com (free). These tests are the most accurate representation of the GMAT exam since they feature real but retired questions.

See how you do with that test. And let us know how it goes!

Hi,
I took a new kaptest after 2 weeks of intensive work.
I ve started at 250 Q:10% V:2%
today's results: 480 Q:41% V: 15%

I ve made the big mistakes to spend almost 20 minutes on the 1st questio (I was stuck as you can imagine!). that is why I had to speed up and guess from the question 16...

anyway there is hope, I only need 550 to be accepted to my business school.

do you have any advice?
cheers,
