Hi,
I am gonna write the GMAT next week and trust me I am a wreck now.I have been preparing for 4 months now and my performance is just not stable.I am planning to get a 650+ on the GMAT so that ill atleast stand a chance to get into a decent B-school.The problem with me is that I become very nervous quickly especially when I take my practise tests..I took the second TestPrep today and ended up getting a shameful 480 and all that because I got nervous about the timing and also felt a lack of confidence in me..I had a terrible headache thinking about how I will actually perform on the real GMAT.. When I reviewed the answers of the second TEstPrep, out of 35 incorrect answers I managed to answer 20 correctly..pls give me suggestions as to how I should plan out my study for this week so that I do the right thing before writing my GMAT..Thanks
Maxx

Most of us suffer with this anxiety.

The only attitude that works here is "I am going to loose nothing except $250"

It sounds like the best thing you can do in your remaining week is: relax, trust your abilities, and ensure that you're confident while taking the test.

Your nerves will be the biggest factor in your test performance. Try to calm down and keep perspective: this is just a silly test at the end of the day--it doesn't measure anything about you are your future success as a business person, but it's simply one hurdle you need to jump over to apply for business school.

Remember, the GMAT is just one factor out of many that admissions committees consider in your candidacy! A good GMAT or bad GMAT usually won't determine your acceptance.

Best of luck! You're in the home stretch :)
