I was working for a small investment firm (it was just me and the PM). It was more difficult than i had thought to work in a two firm office. I left on great terms but have not been able to land a job since then. (September) Any advice on answering why i left on a resume..?

I think you need to be honest. Was it to pursue opportunities at a larger firm? or to pursue opportunities doing something different? Remember--less is more on these type of answers so try to keep your answer short and simple.
