Recommendation

by ipreeti » Sun Jan 11, 2009 10:51 am
Dear Lisa,

I am applying to the Insead MBA.Insead states on their website that the second recommendation has to be also be (first one from current supervisor) from someone who has had a chance to evaluate you in a professional setting: a client, a former supervisor or a colleague from your community service or extracurricular activities.

Now since I have worked in the operations department, I have never interacted with the clients but only with software service providers in my capacity as functional owner of the processes

Should a recommendation from one such s/w solution provider be okay.I have worked for over 3 years with him.

Thanks!
Regards,
Preeti

Dear Preeti,

Yes, a solution provider would be able to evaluate you in a professional setting much like a client, vendor or co-worker.

Good luck,
Lisa
