given both m and n >0

we cross-multipy

the question becomes, is mn+nx > mn + mx
mn + nx -mn - mx >0
x(n-m)>0
for this to be true
either x>0 and n>m
or x<0 and n<m

St1: gives only one info: INSUFFICIENT
st2: gives only one info: INSUFFICIENT

Together we know both x>0 and m<n: Sufficient

To find m+x/n+x > m/n

(or) m+x/n+x - m/n>0

x(n-m)/n(n+x) >0

Stmt I

m<n

No idea what x could be or how n+x turns out

INSUFF

Stmt II

x>0

No info on m,n other than both are greater than 0

INSUFF

Together

x>0 m>0 n>0 n>m

x(n-m)/n(n+x) >0

SUFF

Choose C)
