I have been working in IT in the treasury management domain, and so learnt a lot about all the different investment banking instruments and accounting methods and a lot of other related concepts. Have improved from a team member to a team lead in a year and in a supervisory role for the last 1 year with 3 people reporting to me directly. Now client facing role for 3 clients and is responsible for implementation at these sites.Wonderful recommendations can be a sitter and am in the good books of supervisors ( as of now )

I am looking for a post MBA job profile which involves IT consulting for the Banking industry, which shall be followed by an academic career after a PhD in business studies. I am also thinking of an entrepreneurial career in assorted unexploited industries like music, publishing industry and so on.

It will be very helpful if anyone can throw some light on which are the colleges that i can look for. i have listed some schools after limited research.

1)ISB
2)INSEAD
3)MBS
4)NUS

Cost is one important concern, and other factors like relevance to india and return to India also factor into the choices.

I need to know the other choices that i might apply to and also the schools specialising in my line of interests.Any ideas on the US prospects will be helpful. Any information you need shall be provided . Thanks in advance.

You certainly seem to have varied interests for your career goals. A general management degree from a school with a strong reputation would be a good choice for you. Schools to consider: NYU, Columbia, MIT. The NY schools might be particularly beneficial for your longer term goals.
