OG Question

Hello everyone. I had a question regarding the questions in the OG. Are all the questions in the OG a comprehensive overview of all questions I would encounter on the GMAT?

Or is it possible that I will be given a math concept that is not in the guide?

OG is fairly comprehensive, although if you are gunning for a 700+ score, there may be some questions types that aren't covered in as much depth (subjects like permutations, combinations, boldface questions, etc).

OG is still the best material to study from given that it features actual GMAT questions. You can supplement the difficult question types with other references like Kaplan 800.

Hey Eric,

Are you trying to say that if the target score is 700+ , Kaplan 800 is a MUST HAVE???
Can questions from the forum not train you to the same degree.
So for Example, If I know my weakness is Permutations&combinations and Probability, would'nt a question search on various forums suffice??

My opinion is that the OG is fine for virtually everyone. The ONLY REASON that the OG wouldn't be sufficient is if you're scoring above 85th percentile or so in quant. I caution you to be sure that describes you before you abandon the OG for harder material; if you aren't scoring that high to begin with, studying the tough material won't help and could even hurt.

Verbal in the OG is fine.
