GMAT Practice Exams

by leafs4ever93 » Wed Dec 24, 2008 6:36 am
I bought 3 old practice exams from the MBA.com website. My scores on the 3 exams were 670 680 670. Are these practice exams a good predictor of my actual score?

Also, I noticed that the average time per question on the paper exams is 1.5 minutes per question but the time per question for the actual GMAT will be about 2 minutes per questions. Any comments?

THanks

Yes, I think that the MBA.com practice tests are the best indicator you have on how well you would currently perform on the GMAT. These tests feature actual but retired GMAT questions and are made from the makers of the GMAT, so they are presumably the most accurate practice on the market.

With regard to pacing, I believe you get a little under 2 minutes per question on the actual GMAT. I recommend practicing with 90 seconds per question during your prep.

Good luck,
