Kaplan scores vary wildly.

So far I've taken four practice tests. I took the GMATPrep thing first and scored a 630. I took the written test in the Kaplan GMAT Premiere Program 2009 Edition and got a 650 after reading the entire thing and working all the practice problems. Then in my first three Kaplan CAT's I've gotten a 590, a 710 and a 590.

That's a range of nearly 20 percentile points. My scores indicate that I wasted my money because either a.) Kaplan made me stupider instead of teaching me a damn thing or b.) Kaplan is a useless barometer of performance.

I'm taking the test Thursday and I'm starting to panic. Math seems to be my problem, which is ironic since I spent two years as a computer science major taking obscene math courses. I don't know what to do. English is keeping me afloat here. It's not like I'm not missing the same math problems over and over, it's just that I don't understand what the hell the poorly worded question is asking half the time.

Is this damn standardized test going to come down to whether or not I stumble into an understandable set of math questions?
