Sorry, I just want to make sure I have a correct answer before giving the reason.
Anyway, this is my explaination:
"twice" -> each time is better than everytime (everytime means more than 2 times).
In the clause 1, the subject is the dog, and the kennel is for the dog, so the subject in the second clause should be "It". Normally "he" is OK for a dog but I think we will be confused with "the son".

kennel means doghouse. Hence, it and its are correct. The dog has bitten twice, and 'each' is used for two and 'every' is used for more than two.

You need a discussion, but you almost never give the OA at the end (also in other posts). You just let people discuss and wait for the OA. Thanks for that!
