Rewritting the second sentence will make things clear: Ram is going with ravi and vinod to the market.

Ram with Ravi is going to the market. (Subject of the action is Ram)

Ram with Ravi and Vinod is going to the market. ( Subject is ram again).

The two sentences may "sound" weired, but are grammatically correct as per standard English Grammar.
