In the statement - "Despite the convenience of distance learning and online educational programs, they will never replace in-class instruction."

A comparison is done between Online or Distance Learning vs Class Room Learning.I would like to present my views in opposition of the same.

When the Education System started many centuries ago, there used to "Gurukuls" and the studies used to be with the help of Gurus using very basic infrastructure. At that time one has never thought of the future of education with "Schools" and proper infrastructure.

As we moved from old times to new ones the reach of education system widened. Education or studying became more convenient, however the reach of literacy was still limited then came the revolutionary Distance education.

Distance Education not only widened the reach of education, it also encouraged people to pursue studies even if they can not go to formal schools/ colleges on regular basis.

As Distance Education continued to spread its wings humans invented computer and in conjugation with the internet computer became a very powerful tool in the education system.

Distance Education & Online Educational Programs are associated not only with convenience but also with accessibility and spread of education.

With the help of video conferencing a classroom like setup is also possible in the virtual world and in order to make the maximum use of limited number of educational resources such as qualified teachers & access to schools, Universities, afford-ability of education etc Conclusion is with the human race in the 21st century and all the technological advancements Distance education & online educational programs are the future of education.
